Hi! We’re Mike and Anne. We may be new at this flower farming venture, but we have been gardening for decades. We’re happy to share our journey through blooms and blunders as we take on the huge challenge of caring for the Eastside School. The historic two-room schoolhouse is located Milton-Freewater, Oregon, which is part of the Walla Walla Valley.
We invite you to stroll through the flower garden. You can snip a variety of pretty blossoms to create your own bouquet or Snap a quick picture to post and share. If you have something bigger in mind like flowers for a wedding - let’s talk about your vision. We can create unique arrangements or provide bulk fresh flowers.
Shop local! Our roadside farmstand opens every April and runs through Thanksgiving featuring flowers and veggies grown on the schoolhouse farm. You’ll find specialty designer flowers and some of your ol’ favorites in bouquets or small bundles. We also sell veggie plant starts. As the season progresses you can pick up fresh tomatoes, basil, peppers and more. One taste and you’ll be hooked on locally grown produce.
We would love to meet you. We’ll gladly show you around the historic schoolhouse and maybe even ring the school bell! Your support means the world to us and provides for the maintenance and repair of the schoolhouse. It is a huge challenge, but we’re sure you’ll agree its worth all the effort to bring new life to a cherished part of local history.
